Dining Room Cabinet Makeover

I transformed my dining room china cabinet into an entryway chest.  The cabinet was only $40.00 (including delivery) at one of my favorite thrift stores. 1/2 off sale day.   I moved it from the dining room to the entry way.  It's now storage for my candles and a great place to drop off mail.  I also included before and after photos of the entryway/dining area.  Wall were painted from yellow to green   and bought new rugs and accessories.
AFTER Glued Sea Grass Wallpaper ($1.00 roll from yard sale) to front of drawers. Most handles are original with exception of 2 doors.  Please don't mind the water bottles, purse, keys, etc.  sitting on top. CLICK ON PHOTO TO ENLARGE.

Christmas Snowman Tassels

I made this tassel out of an old cookie jar.  The top of the tassel is the lid of the jar.

This tassel is made from a salt shaker.

Owl Greeting Cards

Made some owl greeting cards.  I used the Sentimental Cricut Cartridge.   I  love to add the eyelash knitting yarn tied around the fold for some texture.  It's soft and comes in lots of colors.  I buy mine at JoAnn's.

Beachy Glass Ornaments

Beachy Glass Ornaments
Last Christmas VINTAGE FELT ELVES UNDER GLASS made their debut at our house.  This year I went for more SHIMMER by adding my "beachy" glass ornament to an existing candle display.  I added the extra large red and silver ornament to the mix.  By using my existing decorations it will be a quick take-down after Christmas.

Tea Gift Greeting Cards

Greeting Card cut outs made from Serenade Cricut Cartridge

Machine stitched paper "pocket" to hold tea bag or gift card

Tea Gift Card
I made lots of greeting cards again this year at our annual "Girl's Weekend".  (It actually turns into a week for me!)  When I got home I added the "pocket" on the inside of the cards.  I stitched it on the sewing machine and added a tea bag.  It can hold a gift card as well.

The card stock is K & Company.  Serenade Cricut cartridge cut out of the bird house and branch.  The bird house is suspended from a lime green embroidery floss string.  The "gems" are super glued on and from a bulk bag bought at JoAnn's.  I always use a 40% off coupon.
